July 7th 2007 mr. Okay Machisa took this picture of the new school block built of money raised by Begby Primary and Secondary School.
On the 18th of August he will visit Chakohwa Primary School again to prepare for the opening of the new block painted and with new furniture bought from money raised by Begby Primary and Secondary School.  The whole village is very grateful for the help from Begby.  When the headmaster Mr. Mugano isn't looking too happy it is because he unfortuneately is loosing his sight. You will find more pictures here.
Saturday the 3rd of March 2007 mr. Okay Machisa visited Chakohwa to check the project.  He reported that they estimated the building to be finished in April.  He also took a lot of pictures you can see here
At the same time he could tell that next year they expected that 135 children would be without anyone paying school fees for them, and will not get any education.  US$ 100 for a whole year - isn't there anyone reading this who will be able to help?  If so contact the headmaster at Begby School.
We visited Chakohwa for the third time on the 19th of December 2006.  We didn't take any photoes, so I had to grab some pictures from my video recordings.  Click here for a look.
As usual we were received as well as possible, with lunch and a look at all that was done since last time we visited the school.  We had raised money for school fees for 12 children, which of course was appreciated very much.  We were asked to give their thanks to all who had supported the school fee project.
But still there are a lot of children without anyone able to pay the school fees for them.
These pictures were taken on Saturday April 1st 2006 by Mr Okay Machisa, and they show the impressing work at Chakohwa Primary School for money from Begby Primary and Secondary School, Fredrikstad.  All the work is done since we were there and delivered the money on the 1st of November 2005.  It is great to see what they have done in this five month.  Headmaster Nhamo Mugano and deputy head Joshua can proudly present their new renovated school.
